Kate Scharinger is a Wisconsin based photographer who specializes in portraits, enjoys shooting landscapes and has a passion for commercial photography. Kate received her a Bachelors of Arts in Photography from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.  She enjoys building personal relationships with her clients which allows her to capture their unique personality through her portraits.  Her relaxed shooting style enables her clients to feel comfortable and have fun with what can be an awkward experience for some.  She has a true knack for catching their candid expressions. . . or maybe it's just because they're laughing at her for getting so cracked up by her own jokes. 

Her landscape work is driven by her love for her Creator and the beauty of the world around her. She has an adventurous spirit and is most at home with nothing more than a backpack, tent and the unknown course that lies ahead.  And of course her camera is always in hand to capture the beauty she sees.  It's often hard to tell if she is working or playing at times which is how she prefers it to be. When she is not editing photos or playing volleyball you can find her out getting lost in the woods with her husband Sam, fly fishing one of Wisconsin's beautiful rivers or cooking a delicious meal or treat in the kitchen.
